Lakeside is Waterman Village’s second retirement community. Lakeside opened in 2022 and is located directly across the street from The Oaks at Waterman Village. Lakeside and The Oaks are connected by a bridge over Donnelly Street. It’s our mini ‘The Villages’ Spanish Springs bridge. Lakeside offers independent living apartments AND duplex homes, whereas The Oaks only offers duplex homes.
Lakeside residents do pay a monthly service fee and a ‘buy-in’ fee, which we call a ‘life-lease’ fee. High percentage life-time life-lease fee refund options are available.
Lakeside is an ideal choice for those who already possess long-term care insurance.
