Fernwood Supportive Living At Madrona Grove

At Madrona Grove, licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants provide 24-hour care on both a long-term residential basis and for shorter term stays to recuperate. This is more than just a place where people receive nursing services, it is home. We strive to ensure our residents maintain their dignity, are supported to live comfortably, and are afforded the opportunity to participate in a wide array of activities and classes. We also plan regular outings to regional attractions, such as the Rainbow Trout Farm and Portland’s famous food carts. Each room may be furnished and designed with the some of the resident’s own furnishings, and the cozy common areas provide ample and enjoyable space for visitors and resident activities. In March 2020, Rose Villa will break ground on its next phase of campus redevelopment. In addition to including two new independent living neighborhoods, the effort will realize a 14-year goal of building a brand-new, state of the art 24-hour-care Madrona Grove neighborhood. Reminiscent of a large, comfortable farmhouse, the new Madrona Grove will feature 32 individual rooms, each outfitted with its own private bath. The neighborhood itself is divided into four households of eight residents who will live, dine, cook and participate in activities together, yet also have the privacy of their own space when desired.
