Guardian Health Care Center, located on Belmont Ave., adjacent to the new VA Clinic (Carl Nunziato VA Clinic) and near St. Elizabeth Hospital, provides skilled nursing, short term rehabilitation and Alzheimer's Care. In addition, Guardian Health Care Center provides an Alzheimer's memory care unit. King's Way, is designed for those residents with all stages of dementia within a comfortable and secure living environment. In addition to a dining and activity room for the memory impaired, residents enjoy daily social and recreational activities designed to maximize abilities and interests. King's Way provides a safe homelike atmosphere for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other memory impairments. Our goals are: To maximize each Resident's awareness and orientation and their functional abilities through personal care and daily activities. To promote each Resident's safety and security in a secured environment with personal attention given by staff members. To facilitate social contact through daily recreational, social and spiritual activities. To adapt to each stage of the disease or condition. One of Guardian Health Care Center's most charming characteristics is its strong sense of kinship. Our residents have formed a community within a community. In many cases, friends who have spent lifetimes together on the same city block, find themselves living with one another again at Windsor House at Guardian Health Care Center.
