THE BELKNAP COUNTY NURSING HOME has provided service to the people throughout the Lakes Region since 1835. The Nursing Home is a 94-bed, healthcare facility offering skilled and long-term nursing care twenty-four hours per day seven days a week. It is our goal to ensure that quality, individualized, supportive, and rehabilitative care is available to the residents of Belknap County. We strive to promote and enhance quality of life by providing a safe, caring, homelike environment while promoting respect and individual choice. Belknap County Nursing Home’s mission is to care for our residents as ourselves, with compassion, dignity, and respect. We achieve this through our experienced, competent and caring staff. Our staff includes employees who render care and provide facility operations through the following divisions: Activities (including a Beautician), Administrative, Dietary, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, Nursing and Social Services. Our contracted services include: Dining Service, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy, along with acollaborative Restorative Nursing Program. Podiatry, Dental, Vision, Pharmacy and Gero-psych services are also offered. Our Front Reception Office is open 7-days per week from 8am to 8pm.
