Established in 1906, Florence Home Healthcare Center is truly the cornerstone of senior care in Omaha. Located in the heart of Florence, we are a skilled nursing community and offer our residents and their families: Caring, Respect, Confidence, Support, Respite Caring and respect go hand-in-hand. Our residents and families hold our team of caring professionals to the highest standards. We wouldn’t have it any other way! Support is offered through, among other things, our rehabilitation services. Many of our residents are here to recover from an injury, surgery, or physically limiting illness. Physical, occupational, and speech/language therapists work on-site to assist these individuals in achieving their highest level of ability and independence. In fact, 50% of our population, on average, rehabs to a more independent level of care. Our Respite Care program is for the individual whose daily caregiver may be unavailable for a short time or who just needs a much deserved break. Respite Care is a simple, easy-to-use program that offers all the benefits of a skilled nursing facility for just a few days at a time.
