Using a holistic approach to care, St. Jane incorporates the mind, body and spirit into daily living. Patients/residents can choose from sessions of aromatherapy, light therapy, massage, pet therapy, Tai Chi, weighted blankets to help alleviate falls, and yoga. St. Jane de Chantal personnel embrace the philosophy of person-centered care. This is a philosophical approach to care that honors and respects the voice of patients/residents and those working closest with them. It involves a continuing process of listening, trying new things, seeing how they work, and changing things in an effort to individualize care. We value all persons and acknowledge that each person has strengths, abilities, gifts, and contributions to offer. We strive to create a homelike environment that is aesthetically pleasing and is embedded with technology and designed to maximize accessibility for all persons.
