Irvington’s 50-bed ventilator unit, staffed 24-hours per day by FutureCare’s in-house respiratory therapy team, is the largest skilled unit in the state of Maryland. The ventilator unit offers both aggressive weaning services as well as long-term ventilator management. The facility also houses an on-site dialysis center, eliminating the need for transport to a hospital or outside dialysis center for those who require this service. In addition, Orthopedic rehabilitation, stroke recovery and post-surgical rehabilitation care are available, as well as wound care management, IV therapy, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, palliative care and hospice services.
