Offering comprehensive rehabilitation-to-home care, long-term care, and an assisted living community, Regency Care Center is entirely focused on helping residents meet their full potential. With the recent completion of a new, dedicated rehab-to-home wing, Regency Care’s private suites, as well as our private and semi-private rooms, feature amenities and services that enhance the quality of life for every resident. A respected health care provider in Norwalk for more than 40 years, Regency Care specializes in serving as the bridge between hospital and home. Working closely with Des Moines area hospitals to provide therapy-centered care to rehabilitation and skilled nursing residents, Regency Care offers the support residents need to remain as active and vibrant as possible. Regency offers a complete range of services and amenities in our assisted living community, all with the goal of helping residents stay as active and vibrant as possible. Our comfortable one- and two-bedroom apartments include meals, housekeeping, and laundry service, as well as access to a whirlpool and library. We also have a private dining area that is perfect for parties or special occasions with family. Beyond the amenities, Regency has a comprehensive therapy program on site, which includes physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Additionally, we offer around-the-clock care and medication management from certified nursing staff, and have a licensed RN on site five days a week. Our robust activities calendar adds another layer of stimulation and interaction for residents, and Regency’s full-time activity director plans daily activities in our large, welcoming activity room and frequent outings to go shopping or simply just to have fun.
