Briarwood Health Center by Harborview is conveniently located to the Emory Decatur Hospital (formerly DeKalb Medical), Grady Memorial Hospital and also proudly welcomes our Veterans from the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur. We offer a continuum of care on our campus, ranging from independent living at our Bentley Square assisted living facility to skilled nursing and rehabilitation at Briarwood Health Center. Our center can uniquely provide total parenteral nutrition (TPN) services, support BIPAP (bilevel positive airway pressure), and CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) recipients. Our extensive clinical capabilities are stable trach, suctioning, Life Vest, Trilogy, IV Antibiotic therapy, IV fluids, Gastrostomy/ PEG feedings, wound care, and wound vacs; management of Pyrex drainage, and Jack Pratt drainage system. In addition to 24-hour skilled nursing services, we offer medical staff 5 days per week. Our dedicated rehabilitation staff are in-house and employees of the center. Briarwood Health Center is a nursing agency free environment. We offer a host of amenities including spacious resident rooms, free salon services at our Esteem Salon and a first class dining experience. We are also proud of our outdoor covered patio space and other scenic outdoor spaces.
