The Kensington Reston

The Kensington Reston is located on Sunrise Valley Drive, less than one mile from the Wiehle Reston-East metro station. The community is adjacent to Reston National Golf Course and is within a short drive to Reston Town Center, shops and restaurants at the metro, Lake Thoreau, and Lake Anne Plaza. At The Kensington Reston, our goal is to build long-lasting, loving care relationships. To achieve this, we create conditions that build trust and strengthen the relationship between each resident and their primary care manager, helping each of our residents to feel comfortable, secure, and respected. A pivotal part of aging healthfully is staying active and making and nurturing friendships. To that end, we schedule outings 2-3 days a week and keep a full calendar of activity options. A full-time Life Enrichment Manager and Activity Coordinators keep resident schedules as full as they want them to be, while we encourage participation we also support independence. All of this helps create an atmosphere that keeps our residents engaged, improving their long-term wellness and life enrichment. We invite families to share lunch and dinner with their loved ones in our elegant main dining room. Enjoy gourmet meals prepared by our professionally trained chef and served by waitstaff. Because we love it when our residents have visitors, friends and family always eat for free. Remember to mention any dietary needs or preferences. We are happy to accommodate a wide range of special diets including low-sodium, low-sugar, and heart-healthy options.
