Founded in 1849, Goddard House is the oldest elder care organization in Massachusetts, and the third oldest in America. A not-for-profit organization, the community features seventy-five traditional assisted living apartments and forty apartments in its Olmsted Place Memory Support Neighborhood for those with Alzheimer’s disease or related cognitive impairment.
Residents at Goddard House enjoy a variety of innovative and enriching programs, including music therapy, Open Art Studio, exercise classes, intergenerational programs, educational lectures and outings to area attractions. Residents also enjoy three restaurant-style meals daily from the award-winning Brain Healthy Cooking program, which is inspired by the Mediterranean diet.
