In 1838, Henry Vonderlieth came from Germany to settle in Mount Pulaski, just two years after the town was founded. His grandson, Henry, together with his wife, Jane, were the founders of the Vonderlieth Living Center. The nursing home initially opened in October of 1973 with 60 beds. Today, our board of directors continues to manage the Vonderlieth Trust. Their expert financial foresight and business experience continue to ensure that our community exceeds the demanding standards of the long-term care continuum. Along with the expert staff management by Heritage Operations Group, Vonderlieth Living Center is the perfect place to spend your next phase of life. Vonderlieth Living Center is a Medicaid and Medicare-certified skilled nursing and independent living community that offers a wide range of services including respite and hospice care. In addition to skilled nursing care, our campus also offers 23 independent living apartments for purchase or rent that feature one- and two-bedroom floor plans.
