Each apartment has a microwave, a full-size refrigerator, comfort-height bathroom fixtures and a walk-in closet.

Assisted Living, Memory Care and Nursing at the Holmstad

Assisted living is for residents who need help with at least two daily activities and have a doctor's order. Staff give medications and help with bathing, dressing and incontinence. There's a 24-hour call-for-aid service and three chef-prepared meals a day with table service. Memory care adds a specially trained care team and a non-confining resident monitoring system. It also has SAIDO Learning, an individualized program your loved one is encouraged to join five times a week. The skilled nursing center is Medicare-certified, with nursing care around the clock, IV therapy and wound care. Physical, occupational and speech therapy are offered, and outpatient rehab is open to the greater Batavia area.

Everyday Life at the Holmstad

The Town Center holds fitness rooms, art studios and dining. Around campus there's a pool, a sauna and hot tub, and walking paths. There's also a Game Center, a computer lab, a wood shop and a community garden. The Commons Auditorium hosts performances. Meals are served in the Dining Room, and the Bistro has coffee, casual food and grab-and-go meals. A shuttle runs to the train for trips to Naperville or downtown Chicago. Residents also run a Home Store that sells furniture and home decor.
