The Gardens - Gananda Senior Apartments

The Gardens The Gardens is home to adults 62 and older. Located in Macedon, New York, just off the Gananda Parkway, the community offers 62 one-bedroom apartment homes, complete with the latest conveniences and amenities. The monthly rent includes some utilities. This is made possible by financing and assistance from federal, state and local government programs, which allows us to provide beautiful and affordable homes to those who qualify. Each apartment is designed with an open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, individual unit controlled heating and cooling, large storage room, and balcony or patio. For the convenience of our residents, the community center, fitness center, card room, library, mailroom and trash room are all inside the building. The building is also equipped with a central elevator. Thanks to our very active residents, there are many planned activities in which residents have the opportunity to participate. The community room bustles weekly with a variety of activities. The Gardens enjoys the privacy of a spacious 5-acre wooded lot, neighbored by farmland and Blue Heron Hills Country Club. We are proud to offer the opportunity for every resident to plant, maintain and harvest a personal garden, and access the community greenhouse. A bi-weekly bus is provided by Wegmans for no-charge transportation to grocery shopping and the local Palmyra Pharmacy offers free daily prescription delivery. In conjunction with their weekly activities, the Walworth-Seely Library offers onsite resource lending and returns, and can issue library cards to residents from the convenience of our community room.
