The Gardens of El Monte is an 53 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation care center conveniently located minutes from the 210, 10 and 605 Freeway. The Gardens of El Monte staff strives to provide excellent short term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, speech and occupational therapy to patients throughout the San Gabriel Valley and outlying areas. We know that making the decision to transition your loved one to a skilled nursing center can create feelings of fear and apprehension, but our staff is committed to assisting with this process from the time of admission to discharge. This ensures our patients and families feel included, informed, and confident that the choice to come to The Gardens of El Monte was the best choice for recovery and care. The Gardens of El Monte has a lovely interior courtyard where patients and their guests can relax and visit while enjoying the sunshine. Many of our rooms open to an outdoor patio or the interior courtyard, making it easy for family and friends to visit. Most rooms have a large window allowing bright light and a feeling of openness. The Gardens of El Monte rooms are clean and comfortable, with complimentary Wi-Fi, cable and individual TV’s for each patient. Our professional, nurturing staff provide a full range of individualized care, including rehabilitative nursing and comprehensive physical, occupational, and speech theraphy. Our clinical team promote quality of care for each patient, and we strive for them to return home at their prior level of function. Our activity programs are specifically designed to enrich, support and maximize the quality of life for each patient. These programs fill the day with positive experiences with activities such as music therapy, exercise, recreational outings, socialization events, cooking classes, and so much more. Our team of physical, occupational, speech, and therapists work together to have our patients reach their maximize potential in order to safely discharge back home or to the prior residence. We provide a specialized dietary program that is prepared daily by our experienced cooking staff. Each patient’s diet is carefully monitored by our Dietary Supervisor and our Registered Dietician.
