Our nurses, therapists, physicians, and staff work together to create the lifestyle that meets your medical and social needs in a caring environment. Our team of RNs, CNA’s, LPNs, dietitians, social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, restorative staff, and activity staff all work together to create a custom plan of care for each resident. As your needs change, your personalized care plan evolves. You and your family can trust Bay County Medical Care Facility for complete skilled nursing care, including rehabilitation, restorative nursing, wound care, intravenous therapy, and advanced respiratory care. When you arrive at the Bay County Medical Care Facility, you’ll notice our relaxed country atmosphere and sidewalks winding through attractive landscaping. Gazebos and overhangs protect our residents from Michigan weather as they enjoy watching wildlife in the scenic fields that surround our building. Our well-lit parking lot makes it easy to visit your loved one throughout the year. Stroll up the walkway and step inside where you’ll find residents watching movies, playing bingo or cards, or baking. Check out the Activities Calendar and you’ll see our schedule includes live entertainment, crafts, and outings to go shopping, visiting restaurants, bowling, or spending some time in a casino. When our residents are ready for a quieter atmosphere, they can check books or videos out of our in-house library. Once a year, we hold a Car Show and Fun Fair. Our goal is to create a home-like atmosphere for our residents. To achieve that, we invite our residents to join our Resident Council which meets regularly with our staff to guide us in creating the best possible atmosphere for everyone.
