Horizons Living & Rehabilitation Center is a sixty-five bedroom skilled nursing and rehab facility, consisting of furnished private and semi-private rooms. We are located in the scenic midcoast town of Brunswick, Maine. Our home is designed for those who wish to maintain an independent lifestyle, but require assistance with personal case and home making chores. Life at Horizons Living & Rehabilitation Center involves a plethora of wonderful amenities and comforts to those who live here. Residents are encouraged to take part in our full activity program that is designed to promote physical function, socialization, and community spirit. Our team of skilled professionals provides rehabilitative and restorative care, through physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs. Our staff wants you and your family to play an active role in setting your recovery goals and will help you achieve them. Under the supervision of your physician, our highly qualified therapists will work closely with you to aid in your recovery. We offer various therapeutic exercise programs designed to help improve flexibility, strength, balance, and mobility. These include but are not limited to functional mobility training, addressing environmental barriers, pain management, body mechanics, and positioning techniques. We assist with improving the activities of daily living for our residents. Our speech therapy programs look to strengthen communication skills and cognitive functions for you or your loved ones.
