As the newest member of the St. Margaret’s Healthcare Family, St. Jude’s expands upon a tradition of excellence in skilled nursing care that has persisted in New Orleans since 1889. Our mission is to offer dedicated, dependable care to each of our residents, and to preserve and protect the dignity of the elders we strive to serve. With the addition of St. Jude’s, we have extended our commitment to quality care into Uptown New Orleans. Our Delachaise campus, formerly the Unity Nursing and Rehab Center, has recently completed Phase 1 of a renovation series that has revitalized our entire first floor. From walls and lighting, to the furniture and common spaces, St. Jude’s physical environment has been designed to reflect our healthcare philosophy: that our residents are our family, our community, our heritage, and deserve to live and thrive among the comforts of home.
