The Cedars is more than a McPherson, KS nursing home—we’re a community focused on our residents. The Cedars offers continuing care that is customized in comfortable surroundings with compassionate caregivers. This Person-Centered Care approach provides peace of mind for our residents and their families. The Cedars Houses are on the East side of our campus at the corner of First and Maxwell Streets. Three group homes accommodate 12-14 residents centered on a common kitchen and large sitting and dining area. Each home has a large patio where residents may fully enjoy the gorgeous lake views. To take advantage of the full amenities and social opportunities at The Cedars, our transportation department makes regular and frequent trips between the Cedar Houses and the main building. We have a Director of Nursing, a dedicated Activities Director, Masters Level Social Worker, and a Chaplain to ensure that all residents are given the opportunity to stay both physically, mentally, and spiritually active. The Cedars isn’t a typical McPherson nursing home, or any other kind of skilled nursing facility, but rather offers healthcare services, amenities, a compassionate staff, and an incredible campus to provide quality of life to our residents.
