My great-grandmother passed away yesterday, but for her last 6 months or so she was at Brownsburg Health Care Center. I have to say that the staff was amazing, always going above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Yesterday I was there for 16 hours with the family to say goodbye to grandma. The staff were prompt with absolutely everything, included the family in grandma’s care, asked us often if any of us needed anything, and just did everything possible to keep grandma comfortable in this rough time. I felt like the staff actually cared – they came in to talk, listened to our stories, told us some of their own, asked questions, and even seemed genuinely sad at the situation.
