Southington Care Center

Southington Care Center is a 130-bed facility specializing in short-term inpatient rehabilitation and rehab nursing care, long-term care and outpatient rehab services. Southington Care Center also offers a specialized program for dementia and memory-impaired residents. Our second floor garden room and therapeutic outdoor space brings the outside in, incorporating the benefits that the natural world brings to creating a comforting and nurturing environment. Outpatient therapy specialty programs include Speech Therapy, Lymphedema Management, Orthopedic, Neurologic, Balance and Aquatics and Pre-surgical Therapeutic Exercises (Pre-hab). Wellness programs, such as GoodLife Fitness, are offered to inpatients as well as to the community. Staff is specially trained to provide services that enhance quality of life while promoting maximum well-being for residents and outpatients alike. Southington Care Center features a state-of-the-art 8,300 square foot rehabilitation pavilion complete with aqua-therapy and an occupational therapy suite that replicates the home setting. This facility allows patients to receive rehab services in an environment that has been specially designed to meet the needs of an older population. Southington Care Center is approved for Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance plans.
