Centennial Villa

Centennial Villa, located in Annandale, MN offers independent living, assisted living & memory care.

Centennial Villa was built in 1987 to provide senior housing to independent persons 55 years of age or older. This building is connected to the Annandale Care Center by a link. Meals can be purchased for a fee and light weekly housekeeping is provided. 22 apartments consisting of eight two bedroom, two large one bedroom and twelve one bedroom apartments are available. Due to an overwhelming response for assisted living services, these apartments also offer assisted living. Centennial Villa Assisted Living/Memory Care was built in 2000. 7 apartments were designated as memory care apartments with a secure entrance and special memory care services, 23 apartments; three two bedroom, nine large one bedroom and eleven standard one bedroom apartments are available for assisted living. In 2002, two individual apartments within the memory care unit were converted to double occupancy thus allowing a total of 9 persons to reside within the memory care area. In July of 2008 Centennial Villa opened three Memory Care cottages in a separate building connected to the Care Center. These three cottages house up to 12 people and replaced the memory care apartments within the assisted living building. The cottages are designed as a household with separate bedrooms with private bathrooms. In October of 2009, construction was complete on the renovation of the 7 apartments designated for memory care, within the assisted living building. One apartment remained, and another 5 were converted to two single occupancy bedrooms with private baths. One apartment was demolished to make room for a more spacious Living, Dining and Kitchen area. This new cottage is designed and staffed for Advanced Dementia Care patients. September of 2010, we announced the addition of Respite Care. Our Guest Suite will be made available for short term respite stays. Respite care allows families to take a break from daily care managements tasks of a caregiver; to allow guests to recover from an illness or injury before returning home, or simply to sample the lifestyle associated with assisted living.
