Townehall Place is not only convenient, it also houses an important piece of West Bloomfield history…the historic town hall built in 1923 where the township expand their central hub of administrative activity. This location also housed the local library for nearly a decade in the late 1930’s and 1940’s providing literary and educational resources to local residents. Although all that remains of the original building is the street facing facade of our community, the words “Town Hall” are still proudly displayed as an important reminder of our area’s history.
