Skilled services are provided by the Highlands Care Center team, specializing in wound care, IV therapy, rehabilitation, and post-operative care with a registered nurse on duty 24-hours a day. Many members of our dedicated staff have over 20 years of service. Our physical therapists provide skilled services to improve the mobility, balance, transfers, and range of motion for those who require assistance to recover from a decline related to surgery, illness, or injury. Additionally, residents with orthopedic conditions such as low back pain or osteoporosis; joint and soft tissue injuries such as fractures and dislocations; neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, or Parkinson’s Disease can benefit from the skill of our physical therapists. Skilled care is provided to help restore the ability to complete the tasks necessary for activities of daily living.
